RAP FREIGHT INC. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations. Your professionalism in customer service and ability to work as part of a two-person team or convoy will be essential in ensuring the success of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and receive and relay information as needed.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.

Requirements:

  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
  • Accident or incident reports.
  • Driver logbook.
  • Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).

Work Environment:

  • On the road job.
  • Physically demanding.
  • Sitting.
