Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, address customer complaints or concerns, and advise on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
- Parts Management: Clean and maintain the office, supply area, or warehouse, identify, label, and catalogue items received, and issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
- Inventory Control: Maintain records on the inventory control system, prepare and track work orders, and prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
- Receiving and Shipping: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials, and ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment.
- Store Management: Store items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Work Environment: Dusty and noisy work site environment.
- Work Setting: Urban area, construction company, repair and service establishment, and garage.
