Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and maintaining general ledgers.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
  2. Maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  3. Establish and maintain manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  4. Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  5. Assist with tax returns and reconciliations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
