Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Pizza Unlimited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff: Lead and motivate a team of food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and coaching to staff to improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain Quality and Safety Standards: Ensure that all food and service meet high quality control standards, and that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare and manage budgets, and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other key metrics.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and high-quality food. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, and to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
