Wealth Sales Professional

You will be part of a dynamic team at Financière Sun Life, working in the wealth distribution department under the Sun Life Global Investments brand. This role involves partnering with Wealth Sales Directors and Regional Sales Assistants to generate sales through various investment channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with investment advisors and provide insights about capital markets to increase sales of Sun Life wealth solutions.
- Assist investment advisors and insurance specialists with Sun Life solutions, business building practices, and competitor analysis.
- Generate sales and lead development through proactive outbound telephone calls and email communications.
- Input and utilize the CRM/database with all the information pertaining to designated regions to plan and prioritize activities with advisors.
- Participate in national, regional, and project group meetings, sharing feedback and information, and actively participate in sales workshops.
Requirements:
- The following certifications: IFIC, CFP, CIM, or CFA are a plus.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field such as Commerce, Finance, or Business.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience; experience working in the financial services industry.
- Extremely strong sales aptitude; entrepreneurial in nature.
- Passion for following and understanding capital markets.
- Ability to build credibility and rapport with clients over the phone.
- Strong listening and communication skills with the ability to simplify complicated financial concepts.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and execute sales plans while working within a team.
- Professional pose with strong business etiquette.
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide.

Compensation:
The base pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to base pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales-focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
