Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at KK INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess inventory.
    • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service
    • Greet customers and address their complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, meeting their expectations and needs.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and excellent oral communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
    • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. The position involves standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
