Part Time Intervenor to Support Individuals with Dual Sensory Impairment

Supporting Deafblind Individuals in Their Daily Lives
Sensity Deafblind and Sensory Support Network of Canada is seeking a Part Time Intervenor to support individuals who are living with dual sensory impairment. The Intervenor will provide communication and day-to-day living support to enable individuals to live independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals in their home and community environments.
- Using communication techniques to relay information.
- Empowering individuals to participate and be successful in all aspects of daily living.
- Providing personal care as required.
- Assisting with developing and supporting individual goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Completion of a college diploma or certificate in the Intervenor for Deafblind Persons program or a related human services field.
- Experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors.
- Communication in American Sign Language (ASL) or Signed Exact English (SEE).
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
