Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Duty Manager - North. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining facility security and safety, and responding to emergencies and incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to members and staff
  • Maintain facility security and safety, including responding to emergencies and incidents
  • Ensure the safety of members and staff in a proactive manner
  • Be aware of all programs and facility bookings, ensuring that facilitators have all necessary resources
  • Work in a strong team environment, providing support to busy areas, tours, set-up of program areas, and anything else required to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
Requirements

We are looking for an individual who embodies the YMCA values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. The successful candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary education
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Minimum of one supervisory experience
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Interest in and dedication to Health and Safety policy and procedure
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
  • Evidence of a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
