Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at HOME CLEANING COMPANY (THE). As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Disinfecting and Polishing: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Additional Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, wax and polish floors.
Requirements:
  • Team Player: We are looking for a team player who is willing to work collaboratively with our team to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Will Train: We will provide training to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform your duties.
  • Cultural Competency: We provide cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous workers.
Work Environment:

We offer a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
