YMCA Calgary is seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our North facility.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our members and staff.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons.
  • Maintain a secure and safe facility environment, responding promptly to emergencies, first aid requests, incidents, and theft.
  • Proactively ensure the safety of members and staff through vigilant observation and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with program facilitators, ensuring they have the necessary resources for successful program delivery.
  • Work effectively within a team environment, providing support across various areas, including tours, program setup, and general facility operations.
Your Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer service excellence.
  • A minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • A genuine interest in and commitment to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification.
  • Evidence of a clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
  • Three professional references available upon request.
