Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at GJLC2 FOOD SERVICES INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and assisting with food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
Work Environment:

The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, and will be required to work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and team player.
  • Experience: Will train.
