RhynoCare is a leading provider of supportive care services, dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for our residents. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Caregiver Specialist to join our team.
Job DescriptionThis role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while advancing your career in healthcare support services. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will work closely with registered staff to provide comprehensive support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Responsibilities- Assist registered staff in conducting diagnostic and therapeutic measures to promote resident well-being.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care, adhering to corporate policies and standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement holistic, quality approaches to resident care, aligning with RhynoCare's mission and values.
- Support resident meal service and restorative nursing programs, promoting independence and dignity.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in resident care.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A minimum age of 18 years.
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
- The ability to speak a second language is considered an asset.
- A PSW Training Program diploma (minimum 640 hours) from a recognized institution or equivalent experience as a Registered Nurse, RPN, Paramedic, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist.
- Negative T.B. skin test or chest x-ray result.
- Current CPR (BCLS) and First Aid Certificate.
- Meet health surveillance requirements under the Public Hospitals Act.
- VSS within the past year confirming absence of a criminal history/record.
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
