Meat Department Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat Department Lead to join our team at Alimentation Raymond Rousseau inc. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and control daily meat department operations
- Evaluate and improve daily operations to meet customer needs
- Plan and organize daily meat department activities
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote meat department products
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses for the meat department
- Supervise office and volunteer staff in the meat department
- Monitor quality and production levels in the meat department
Requirements:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a meat department or related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of meat cutting and sales principles
