Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery at Edgewater Plants Inc.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to control pests, diseases, and weeds in our plant stock.
  • Determine the optimal quantities and types of plants to grow, ensuring a diverse and thriving inventory.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient production and minimize downtime.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to maintain high-quality plant care and production standards.
  • Procure necessary materials and stock to support our plant production needs.
  • Supervise staff in planting, transplanting, feeding, and spraying to ensure optimal plant growth and health.
Work Environment

Our nursery operates in a hot environment with potential odors and outdoor work conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
