Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to join our Global Credit team within RBC's Capital Markets division. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with business stakeholders and IT professionals to design, develop, and implement business processes and systems that support our global credit strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to system development projects, from requirements gathering to testing and implementation
  • Facilitate IT design and development to ensure maximum data integrity and flexibility
  • Ensure all IT development is properly tested, reviewing UAT and executing BAT
  • Manage project timelines and stakeholder expectations, providing timely and ongoing communication
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to facilitate progress and issue resolution
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a logical mindset and technical aptitude
  • Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and query data
  • Inherent sense of ownership and initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, with clear and concise oral, written, and presentation abilities
  • Proven relationship-building skills to create, maintain, and enhance relationships with internal and external partners
  • Business System Analyst or similar studies
  • Ability to comprehend and document complex business requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Studies in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
  • Experience in GUI design or data analytics
