We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team.

Job Description
  • Oversee month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial reporting.
  • Review HST returns on a monthly basis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Review quarterly financial packages, providing analysis and recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare annual budgets, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Prepare transfer pricing adjustments annually, collaborating with tax professionals to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate the preparation of tax returns for over 70 entities, including trusts, limited partnerships, and corporations in Canada and the US.
  • Oversee the preparation of year-end audited financial statements, interacting with auditors throughout the year to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review expense reports for employees and corporate credit card programs, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing controls to prevent misuse.
  • Oversee full payroll process for Canadian and US employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ensure OSC funds meet all compliance requirements, working closely with internal stakeholders to implement necessary controls.
  • Calculate annual carry loans and interest, as well as carry value for investment sales.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • CPA, CA designation required.
  • 10+ years professional experience in the financial services industry, preferably in private equity/investment management.
  • Prior public accounting experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work collaboratively in a small team environment.
