We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
