Job Title: Senior Electrical Project Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 (Plus additional company benefits)

Location: West London

Company Overview

We are working with a leading M&E contractor in the UK building services sector, with a turnover exceeding £200 million. They operate across various major sectors, including commercial office spaces, hotels, and leisure, mixed-use commercial developments, critical services, and banking, delivering projects with values of up to £100 million MEP.

The company is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a major commercial project in West London. In this role, you will report directly to the Project Lead, overseeing all phases of construction, from design to final handover.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who has successfully delivered projects with a value of £30 million MEP or more. You should be results-driven, capable of managing client expectations, meeting tight deadlines, and ensuring a high-quality, engineering-led delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage full on-site teams and subcontractors, driving project delivery in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  2. Take ownership of client relationships, ensuring the project aligns with their objectives and requirements.
  3. Oversee project planning, execution, and completion from design to handover, coordinating with all project stakeholders.
  4. Hold regular progress, design, and commercial meetings with senior management to ensure key milestones are met.
  5. Maintain health and safety compliance across all project activities, ensuring the highest standards are adhered to at all times.
  6. Procure sub-packages, contracts, and materials, ensuring the project budget is managed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 7 years' experience working as an Electrical Project Engineer within the M&E sector, with recent experience in high-value commercial projects.
  2. Proven track record of managing electrical packages for projects valued at £40 million MEP or more.
  3. Experience in fast-paced, quality-driven environments, with an eye for detail and maintaining standards under pressure.
  4. Ability to foster strong working relationships with clients, site teams, and stakeholders.

Remuneration Package

  1. Highly competitive salary of up to £85,000 based on experience and performance.
