Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Specialist to join our team at Definity. As a Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Senior Bodily Injury and Casualty claims. This includes investigating claims, determining liability and quantum, and maintaining detailed file records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate claims to determine liability and quantum
  • Maintain detailed file records
  • Engage with stakeholders, including underwriting and senior leadership
  • Confirm policy coverages
  • Attend mediations, pre-trials, and settlement initiatives

Requirements:

  • University degree, college diploma, or CIP designation
  • Minimum 3 years of claims handling experience in Bodily Injury/Casualty Litigation
  • Notable Commercial General Liability Claims handling experience
  • Professional, friendly, and courteous in all interactions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
