Accident Benefits Litigation Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Accident Benefits Litigation Specialist to join our team at Definity Financial Corporation. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to handle complex Accident Benefits litigation files and provide strategic advice to our Claims department.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry a full caseload of Accident Benefits litigation files, including priority and loss transfer disputes.
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve successful outcomes.
- Provide expert advice to the Claims department on Accident Benefits litigation matters.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- At least 4+ years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on Accident Benefits litigation.
- Law Degree from an accredited law school (LLB or Juris Doctor).
- Licensed by the Law Society of Ontario to practice law as a lawyer in Ontario.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
