Senior Technical Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Data Engineering team at Jobber. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the discovery and delivery of scalable data systems that connect our data sources to critical business tools.
Key Responsibilities- Take on the responsibilities of a Scrum Team Product Owner for our in-house engineering teams, executing the product management workflow, backlog management, and participating in Scrum events.
- Own the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas, prioritizing building what matters to achieve the company's strategic goals and initiatives.
- Be responsible for cross-functional program management, driving project planning and execution, providing proactive transparency to stakeholders, and supporting teams to ensure timely delivery of their scope.
- Educate, mentor, and train team members across the company on product methodology and philosophy.
- Career experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, or similar role.
- A track record of building and shipping multiple products or technical solutions that have successfully delivered value.
- Strong technical background enabling engagement with engineers about architecture and technical considerations that impact backend systems.
- Ability to effectively tailor messaging to the right audience, from executive-level through to direct teams.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Jobber, you will have the opportunity to work on complex cross-functional projects, drive project outcomes, and develop strong cross-functional relationships with senior stakeholders and Engineering Managers.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience with backend technology solutions responsible for streaming data to external systems, a shipping mindset, and a data-driven mindset.
