Sales Opportunity Overview

At Grafana Labs, we're dedicated to empowering customers to achieve data-driven success. As a Strategic Account Executive, you'll be instrumental in driving growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities within the Canada region. Your expertise will be pivotal in articulating the value of our solutions, working closely with customers during the trial phase, and ensuring a seamless handover to our Customer Success team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales targets
  2. Oversee all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, sales meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations, and account management
  3. Cultivate sales through both outbound prospecting and inbound leads
  4. Effectively communicate the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise
  5. Become an expert in managing your sales pipeline within Salesforce
  6. Manage quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests

Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technology Sales or equivalent
  2. 10 years of software sales experience
  3. Proven track record of prospecting into Fortune 100 companies
  4. Demonstrated history of achieving sales goals in a competitive environment (top 10% performer)
  5. Experience using Salesforce and familiarity with Command of the Message and MEDDPIC
  6. Strong technical background and experience selling open-source technology

What We Offer:
Competitive OTE compensation range of $340,000-$360,000 CAD. Additional benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable), and other perks. Note that compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Compensation ranges are country-specific, and your recruiter will discuss your market's defined pay range and benefits at the beginning of the process.
