We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team at ON-TIME HR in Toronto. The successful candidate will possess strong bookkeeping skills and a keen eye for detail.

About the Role

This permanent position involves working 30 hours per week in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Critical Thinking: Use manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, including tax returns and trial balances of books.
  • Time Management: Meet deadlines and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
