About the Role

The Explore Edmonton Corporation is seeking a results-driven Exhibition Sales Lead to spearhead our exhibition sales efforts. This dynamic individual will cultivate and maintain relationships with exhibitors, drive sales strategies, and work closely with internal team members to ensure seamless coordination of exhibit spaces.

An Exhibition Sales Lead plays a pivotal role in managing and driving sales for exhibitions, conventions, or trade shows. They are responsible for identifying and securing exhibitors, maintaining relationships with key clients, and creating compelling sales pitches to close deals.

This strategic thinker will have:

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or extensive knowledge of sales and marketing resource building.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably within a telephone-based inside sales environment.
  • Experience with recruiting vendors, building relationships, and strong event execution skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.

The ideal candidate will be compensated with an estimated annual salary of $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
