Job Title: Sales Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Gateway Auto & RV Sales & Financing Ltd. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and guide a team of sales professionals, and have a strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Order merchandise and ensure that it is delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
  • Authorize return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Sell merchandise and ensure that all sales are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters and present them to management.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, and ensure that all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and ensure that all inventory is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers and ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team of sales professionals.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
