We are a space-to-cloud analytics company that owns and operates the largest multi-purpose constellation of satellites, providing advanced maritime, aviation, and weather tracking.

Our innovative solutions require expertise in electrical systems development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall engineering development of our designs, including electrical and mechanical design, test plan development, and prototyping and testing mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.

You will also assist with preparation of detailed system documentation and provide production support to our manufacturing team. Your strong debugging experience and fault identification skills will be invaluable in ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical systems designs for our satellite constellation
  • Own electrical and mechanical design, including PCB design and layout
  • Develop test plans and protocols for electrical and mechanical systems
  • Drive prototyping and testing of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
  • Prepare detailed system documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals
  • Provide production support to our manufacturing team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of electronics theory, including component knowledge and analogue and digital circuitry expertise
  • Experience with PCB design, including schematic capture and PCB layout using enterprise software
  • Knowledge of high-speed digital layout design practices and signal integrity principles
  • Experience with digital communication interfaces, including I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, USB, LVDS, and Ethernet
  • Experience with lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analysers, multimeters, and other tools
  • Proficiency in mechanical CAD tools, such as SolidWorks, and mechanical DFM principles
