Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stock levels and review requirements of the establishment to determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Merchandise Selection: Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring it meets our quality and pricing standards.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets and ensure timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in spreadsheet software, such as MS Excel, and word processing software, such as MS Word.
  • Area of Specialization: E-commerce and buying.
Work Environment:

As a Wholesale Buyer at PhoneBox, you will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be expected to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

  • Accurate: Ensure accuracy in all aspects of procurement and inventory management.
  • Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Excellent Communication: Effective written and oral communication skills to negotiate with suppliers and communicate with colleagues.
