As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices and credit terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wholesale procurement, with experience in market analysis, product selection, and customer service. You will be responsible for reviewing our requirements and determining the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, as well as selecting and purchasing merchandise for resale.

In addition to your procurement expertise, you will also be responsible for visiting trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and products. If you are a motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers
  • Negotiate prices and credit terms
  • Oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets
  • Provide customer service
  • Review requirements and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 1-2 years of experience in wholesale procurement
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
