Wholesale Procurement Specialist

PhoneBox is seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
- Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
- Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.
- Supervise the work of other buyers to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
- College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as buying or procurement.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with MS Excel and other spreadsheet software.
- Knowledge of e-commerce and market analysis.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
