Job Title: Wholesale Buyer

PhoneBox is seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.
  • Supervise the work of other buyers to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as buying or procurement.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with MS Excel and other spreadsheet software.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce and market analysis.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
