Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Procurement Specialist to join our team at PhoneBox. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.
  • Supervise the work of other buyers to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in wholesale procurement or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other relevant software.
