About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer specializing in water engineering to work on international projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, design, procurement, and construction administration of water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare feasibility studies, detailed designs, and concept reports for water infrastructure projects.
  2. Develop technical specifications and contract documents for main works and investigation contracts.
  3. Lead tender evaluation and procurement processes, and prepare documentation for statutory approvals.
  4. Administer construction stage contracts and develop project plans, including budgets and schedules.
  5. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  6. Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including junior engineers and support staff.
  7. Perform site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality.
  8. Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  9. Monitor and control project costs, including tracking expenses and managing change orders.
  10. Identify and mitigate project risks and implement effective risk management strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in water engineering, with a focus on feasibility studies, detailed design, planning approvals, procurement, and construction contract administration of water infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of water engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in design of water infrastructure projects and analysis software.
  • Strong knowledge of various contract forms for construction contracts.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing water engineering projects of varying complexity.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet project milestones.
