About the Role

We are seeking a Water and Infrastructure Operations Lead to join our team at Parkbridge, a leading developer and manager of residential and recreational communities in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of water and wastewater systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and providing expert guidance on infrastructure capital projects.

Job Description
  • Advise on drinking water and wastewater operations, including private non-municipal facilities, water distribution systems, and sanitary and storm collection systems.
  • Support the management of 3rd party water and wastewater contracts, ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Provide expertise on water, wastewater, and other infrastructure capital projects, working with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Identify and lead proposal opportunities, including key inputs for successful submissions.
  • Guide Capex and Property Operations teams on environmental requirements and regulations.
  • Act as an internal consultant and sounding board for Capex, Property Operations, and Investment Management on issues related to road upgrades, water, and wastewater.
  • Escalate issues and identified risks to the Director, Capital Management and Technical Services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university (asset but not required).
  • Experience working in a construction or consulting environment (asset).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detailed understanding of local Agency Codes and Standards is considered essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical, business, and project management teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or equivalent software.
  • Candidate holding an Ontario Class 3 water and/or sewer certificate or equivalent (asset).
