Job Title: Cook

The Drake Inn is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including main courses, sides, and desserts.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed, and manage inventory levels.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Excellent cooking skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
