Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Barakah Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to plan and execute special events, promotions, and menu launches.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to company standards and health codes.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in kitchen management, menu development, and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health codes, and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
