About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Red Earth Inn. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences.
  • Staff Management: Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our restaurant.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have everything we need to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership and management abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
