About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 1121998 Alberta Ltd. o/a Red Earth Inn. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal kitchen efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Staff Development and Training: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of our kitchen staff.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the kitchen, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven track record of menu planning, chef management, and inventory management; excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
