About the Role

The Production Worker is a key member of our team at HITACHI ENERGY CANADA INC., responsible for meeting operational requirements while ensuring quality, environmental, and health & safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform handling, lifting, assembly, erection, and packaging operations of products.
  • Interpret general assembly plans, schematic drawings, and production work instructions.
  • Carry out validations and measurements to provide a high-quality product.
  • Complete work orders, check sheets, and inspection documents as required.
  • Ensure basic maintenance of work equipment and keep the work area clean and tidy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, vocational diploma, or any combination of relevant experience.
  • One (1) year of work experience in the manufacturing/industrial sector (an asset).
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work standing up for long periods.
  • Interpretation of plans and drawings (an asset).
  • Experience with an overhead crane (an asset).
  • Functional French and basic mathematical skills.
  • Available to work evening or night shifts.
  • Occasional weekend availability (an asset).
