Job Title: Handyman/Woman

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Le Manoir Frontenac. As a Handyman/Woman, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Private residence and retirement home.
  • Tasks:
    • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs.
    • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
    • Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
    • Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
    • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
    • Perform minor repairs on appliances.
    • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
    • Work with minimal supervision.

Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
