We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join our team at Stirling Chemicals Inc. in Brampton, Ontario. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our chemical plant, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of plant workers and coordinate daily production schedules
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and maintain necessary administrative records
- Analyze and control costs, optimize machinery and equipment use, and test plant processes for efficiency and safety
- Provide first-hand knowledge of production procedures and ensure staff training and accreditation
- Experience in a supervisory role in a chemical plant, preferably as a Plant Manager
- Post-secondary education in chemistry or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a chemical plant
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills
