Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Property Development Officer to lead our property team at The Waverley. This role involves maintaining our communities to deliver an exceptional experience and ensuring top-notch service at all times.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of community maintenance, including capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
  • Align with the building's brand to improve customer satisfaction, reputation, renewals, revenue, and profitability.
  • Drive revenue growth through a deep understanding of market competition and the development of creative marketing programs.
  • Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, concierge, maintenance, and management personnel, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
  • Uphold and model the Fitzrovia mission to be a best-in-class property management company.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary or bachelor's degree considered a strong asset.
  • ~3-5 years of property management experience, with 2-3 years of financial experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Yardi property management software is preferred.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
