At Stonewood Group Inc., we're seeking an exceptional leader to drive our next stage of growth as Chief Growth Officer.

About the Opportunity

This is a unique chance to join a well-established Canadian software platform and solutions company serving large vertical markets. Our client has solid industry fundamentals, a superb reputation, high analyst rankings, a large and loyal customer base, a motivated team, and a clear product roadmap and strategy for explosive growth.

The incumbent will leverage the company's positioning, momentum, and growing markets to accelerate revenues and profits. As President and Chief Executive Officer, you'll oversee day-to-day operations, ensure timely implementation and execution of business and financial plans, and architect the organization to scale.

Responsibilities
  • Redefine strategic and operating plans, priorities, and options in collaboration with the Board of Directors and senior management team.
  • Oversee daily operations to implement business and financial plans on time, with high quality, and within established cost objectives.
  • Develop organizational capabilities to scale, fostering a corporate culture that outperforms industry standards.
  • Provide direction, performance management, and developmental support to the team, focusing on accelerated growth, new market development, sector leadership, and profitability.
  • Maintain and improve senior-level relationships with existing and potential customers and strategic partners.
Key Performance Indicators

In light of these responsibilities, key performance indicators include:

  • Measurable targets for growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, etc.
  • Industry & Market Awareness: Anticipate and respond to industry changes/challenges by understanding key characteristics, issues, and driving factors.
  • Commercial Acumen: Apply commercial and financial principles, appreciating their impact on the organization's total expenses and revenues.
  • Information Technology Policy and Planning: Align IT investments with the organization's mission, evaluating current and emerging best practices relative to the enterprise's strategic plan.
Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • A highly intelligent, strategically-minded executive with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in BtoB software or technology-based companies, preferably mid-sized enterprises ($10-50mm) driving accelerated revenue growth.
  • Proven entrepreneurial experience with financial, market, and business acumen in scaling businesses.
  • Strong team orientation and ability to build consensus in a growing concern.
  • Willingness to relocate to Toronto, Canada.

Estimated annual salary: $250,000 - $350,000 CAD, depending on experience.
