About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Logistics Manager to join our team at Trans 99 Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Planning and Control
    • Develop and implement effective logistics plans to meet business objectives
    • Monitor and control budget and expenditures to ensure optimal resource allocation
  • Policy and Procedure Development
    • Establish and implement policies and procedures for accounting and financial control
    • Develop and maintain procedures for assessing credit and loan applications
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Lead and manage a team of 5-10 logistics professionals
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Operational Excellence
    • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management on logistics performance and key metrics
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management
  • Education
    • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics or business administration
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
