Job Summary:

The Vancouver Aquarium is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Guest Experience Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Guest Experience team, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our visitors.
  • Provide support to the Guest Experience management team and staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee the daily presentation and operation of our 4D Theatre experience, ensuring that our team is well-trained and confident in their film presentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service that meets our high standards and expectations.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to our organization's values and goals.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, data entry, and visitor communication.
  • Monitor and maintain organizational safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required, including cross-training to support other areas of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Strong customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 programs.
  • Ability to safely lift heavy equipment and stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility and availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
