Job Summary

Highlight Motor Freight Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our transportation team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our trucking operations, supervising a team of truck drivers, and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Truck Drivers
    • Direct and coordinate the activities of truck drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods
    • Monitor driver performance and provide feedback for improvement
  • Coordinate Logistics Operations
    • Plan and schedule transportation routes and schedules
    • Manage inventory and ensure accurate tracking of shipments
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety
    • Verify that all drivers and vehicles meet regulatory requirements
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly
  • Communicate with Customers and Stakeholders
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • 1-2 years of experience in transportation or logistics management
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) required
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
