Job Title: Truck Driver Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at DAY TO DAY LOGISTICS INC. As a Truck Driver Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising truck drivers, dispatching, and traffic controlling. You will also resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise truck drivers and projects
  • Dispatch and traffic control
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train or arrange for training
  • Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panel
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own vehicle
  • Basic security clearance
  • MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Word
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 to 35 hours per week
