Opportunity Overview

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about finance? As a Financial Services Administrator with the Canadian Armed Forces, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. Your responsibilities will include providing financial assistance and budget resources support to all military activities, as well as administering financial services, general office bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable support, and budget management services.

Requirements

  • Be a Canadian citizen
  • Be at least 18 years old (17 years old with parental consent)
  • Have completed at least Grade 10 or Secondaire IV in Quebec

Work Environment

As a Financial Services Administrator, you'll have the opportunity to work at various CAF bases in Canada, on ships, and overseas, supporting Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Navy, or Royal Canadian Air Force operations. You may also serve in special operation units, medical organizations, recruiting offices, schools, reserve units, NATO/UN positions, and other specialized units throughout the CAF.

Training and Development

Upon joining the CAF, you'll undergo basic training and military occupation training, which will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role. You'll also have opportunities for advanced training and professional development to enhance your skills and advance your career.

Education and Qualifications

The minimum required education to apply for this position is the completion of the provincial requirements for Grade 10 or Secondary IV in Quebec with Grade 10 Applied Math and Grade 10 English or French. Basic training and military occupation training are required before being assigned.
