About the Role

Cimtel Telecommunications is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing electronic equipment and assemblies in various settings, including construction sites and installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair: Inspect products to determine repair requirements, inspect and test electronic equipment, and repair or replace defective parts using hand, power, or specialized tools.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostic: Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults, and test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning.
  • Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate products using hand tools, complete work orders, and maintain records of test and maintenance activities.
  • Communication and Coordination: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, read blueprints and drawings, and ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Working Conditions

The Field Service Technician will work in various settings, including construction sites and installations, and will be required to travel regularly. A valid driver's license is required, and a vehicle will be supplied by the employer.
