Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with vehicles, including engine and transmission problems.
- Inspect and test vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.
- Communicate with customers to explain repair options and provide estimates.
- Work with other technicians and mechanics to complete repairs and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as automotive technology or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Automotive Technician or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The Automotive Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and high expectations. The technician will be required to lift heavy objects, work in a dusty and noisy environment, and be exposed to chemicals and other hazardous materials.
