Job Summary

Adecco Canada is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Ottawa, ON. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and services to clients, including connectivity and hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Hardware Installation and Repair: Install, configure, and repair hardware and network equipment, including routers, switches, and servers.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot network-related issues, including cabling, hardware, and software problems.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Travel: Travel to client sites to provide technical support and services, as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum university degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT field services, with broad exposure to a variety of software and hardware technologies.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+ Certification.
  • Skills: Proficient computer skills, solid knowledge of computer networking, and excellent prioritizing and communication skills.
