Food Service Manager

VILLA MEDINA is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Service Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Staff Training: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, and establish work schedules.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment.
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.

Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week
